Van Winter Associates, Inc.

Robert D. "Bob" Van Winter, Jr.

In 1977 Robert D. "Bob" Van Winter (my dad) started this company in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. In the early years it was not uncommon for my dad to drive nearly 100,000 miles a year fulfilling the needs of the plastic industry in New England.

1982 - my brother Eric joined my dad. Together they grew the business.

1985 - I joined my Dad and my brother Eric at Van Winter Associates. Dad and Eric sold for Primex Plastics Corporation and NanYa Plastics. Our customer base included both custom and captive thermo formers as well as plastic fabricators, printers, POP display manufacturers and plastics distributors. I learned how to solve customer's problems and fulfill their plastics needs. I learned to deliver outstanding service to our customers paired with the excellent quality of the products from our principles. Those lessons have earned Van Winter Associates a brilliant reputation in the industry.

1987 - we moved the office from Massachusetts to Rhode Island.

1998 - Dad retired. He and mom are enjoying a warmer climate. Dad has been known to take time to play a round or two of golf to keep busy.

1999 - Eric opened his own Manufacturer's Representative business in Florida.
